Managing Partners Mark Twelfth Year
Each year the Columbus Bar, in conjunction with twenty-nine organizations from the legal community, measures progress and discusses strategies towards creating a diverse community of lawyers in Columbus. The annual survey revealed thirty-nine partners of color, an increase of 179% since 2000. Minority attorneys overall increased 96%, from 47 to 92.
“The Diversity Initiative has been a positive vehicle for helping us address the vital issue of diversity in our profession, and we’ve made great strides … in promoting inclusion at all levels,” said Kurt Tunnell, chair of the Managing Partners Diversity Initiative Advisory Committee.
