Practice Ready Education for Professionals (PREP)

PREP is a 12-part weekly series designed to take you from the basics to the level of proficiency allowing you to incorporate bankruptcy law into your practice. Judith McInturff (Judith M. McInturff Co.) is the organizer of the series presented every Friday from noon until 1:30 for 1.5 CLE hours and approved for New Lawyer Training.

Best Case software will be used during the series and the bankruptcy code itself will be the primary written reference. A pocket edition can be purchased at www.AWHFY.com.

On January 17, Judy will instruct a class on Chapter 1, on eligibility issues. She will be joined by Pamela Maggied (Pamela N. Maggied Co.) on January 24 for a class on Chapter 3, what constitutes adequate protection, treatment of executory contracts, etc.; and by Amy Bostic (Luper Neidenthal & Logan) on January 31 on Chapter 5, determination of secured status and lien stripping . The series will continue through the end of March.
