The Columbus Bar Foundation Annual Civics Event Proved to be an Enjoyable and Educational Evening.

This past Thursday, March 30th, the Columbus Bar Foundation welcomed Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post and MSNBC for a civics education program for area high school students and teachers. Robinson was joined by NBC4 Columbus Anchor Colleen Marshall. The program was designed to educate students on the importance of civics and civility, including their responsibility to educate themselves on national affairs through all forms of media.

As part of the program, the Foundation partnered with the Columbus Bar and Gramercy Books to also host a CLE for local attorneys featuring Mr. Robinson. The CLE was underwritten by the Columbus Bar Foundation, with special support from the Chester Family Professionalism Fund.
