CBA President, Christopher Vonau will deliver the Heraldic Proclamation at Red Mass on October 3. This historic event began in the Middle Ages to coincide with the opening of the courts for a new judicial year. The event is hosted annually by the Thomas More Society to bless the judiciary and those involved in the decision making that affects the lives of our community.

The procession will begin at 5:15pm at St. Joseph's Cathedral (212 E. Broad St.) with the procession of priests and judges from all levels of state courts. There will be a reception immediately following Mass in the Undercroft.

The Columbus legal community works to gather colleagues of all faiths for a time of meditation, song, scripture and prayer for guidance and strength in upholding the highest principles of the legal profession. No registration is required and this Mass is open to all people from all faith and their families.
