What is Law Day, you ask? Law Day is celebrated on May 1st every year to recognize the importance of the law. Whether you’re a lawyer, attorney general, Judge, Magistrate, paralegal, defendant or plaintiff, or simply someone in need of a legal form or document, the law affects and protects us all. National Law Day is the ideal time to reflect on that. The goal is to celebrate the role of the law in everyday life and in society. It also aims to educate the public on how the legal profession and system works as a whole.

The annual event is marked with special themes and a unique campaign to raise awareness of a key part of the law. The focus of Law Day 2023 is “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration”. The law day theme for 2023 will focus on repairing the deep divisions and that have been further aggravated in American society.

To celebrate, the Columbus Bar Association has reserved a private area at Huntington Park for our members, non-members, family and friends to watch the Columbus Clippers take on the Iowa Cubs on Saturday, May 6th at 7:05pm. We are honored to have you and your loved ones join us to celebrate all the amazing things you do for our community in the name of the law.

Purchase your tickets here: https://fevogm.com/event/Columbusbar

$2.00 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Columbus Bar Foundation.
