Mission

The Columbus Bar Association LGBTQIA+ Professional Development Network is dedicated to advancing equality and justice within the legal profession and the broader community. Our mission is to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal field through professional development, personal mentorship, and pertinent legal education.

We strive to influence policy, challenge discriminatory practices, and uphold the principles of justice and fairness while working to create a more equitable and understanding legal profession and society.

By fostering a community of mutual support, collaboration, and leadership, we aim to inspire positive change and use our significant resources to be a powerful voice for inclusivity and acceptance to ensure that the legal system reflects the values of equality and respect for all people under the law.

A Message from the Professional Development Network Chair
I am proud to be a part of providing a platform for LGBTQIA+ lawyers, legal professionals, law students, and allies to connect, collaborate, and advocate for the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ individuals. I look forward to meeting with our members at the monthly meetings and community events and am always interested in discussing how we can make positive change together. Join us!
